After Jude by Dashia. Chapter 9

Jessica my sister could be a real pain in the butt, sometimes, I thought she was meant to have been Fatima's sister. It was my fourth day back home in Abuja and she'd refused going back to school so she'd be with me... She could be sweet too. We'd done all the house chores and since Almighty NEPA wanted us to know they were our superiors, we stayed in darkness. My mum was asleep and my dad had gone to work. I was a very beautiful girl, my face was always bright, I seemed to glow at times, but this person that stared back at me was a ghost filled with bitterness and anger and regret. And pain. I wanted to cry but I didn...

If it were, everyone would be in perfect mental and physical health. By now, we all recognize the direct connection between mental and physical wellbeing. One impacts the other, for better and for worse. The question is how to achieve — and maintain — balance between our mind and body in today’s fast-paced world, where stress is a top global health concern. Approximately 1 in 75 people may experience panic disorder at some point throughout their lives, according to the National Institute of Mental Health. Mental health is such a top concern around the world today that the World Health Organization (WHO) and the World Bank Group (WGB) recently co-hosted an event in Washington, D.C. on the issue. The t...
