Floyd Mayweather Sues Ex

Floyd Mayweather accuses ex-fiancée Shantel Jackson of theft.
Floyd Mayweather is accusing his former fiancée Shantel Jackson of stealing “large sums of cash” during their relationship, a legal move that comes days before her domestic violence lawsuit against the boxer is due to get a trial date.
The undefeated fighter made the theft claim in a cross-complaint filed this week along with his formal answer to Jackson’s 2014 lawsuit alleging assault, battery, invasion of privacy and defamation.
  1. When Jackson first sued three years ago, she accused Mayweather of choking her during an argument, pointing a gun at her head, posting a sonogram photo on Facebook and publicly accusing her of aborting their twins.
Jackson and Mayweather had an 8-year romantic relationship and lived together from 2008 through 2013, the boxer’s new paperwork filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court states.
Mayweather claims Jackson gained his confidence during that time and learned intimate details about his spending habits, credit card accounts and where he kept “loosely” organized cash.
"As a result of that confidence Mayweather, whose education ended at eighth grade, did not audit or otherwise inspect his cash or his card statements for theft by Jackson,” the lawsuit claims.
The paperwork claims Jackson “skillfully concealed” her alleged scheme, sometimes shipping secret purchases to a location unknown to Mayweather.
The filing does not give specific dates or amounts for the alleged thefts, but Mayweather said he wants triple damages.
The case is due in court Monday for a trial-setting conference.
“I have been embarrassed and humiliated more than I can ever imagine by Floyd,” Jackson said at a 2014 press conference with her lawyer Gloria Allred.
She said Mayweather twisted her arm and choked her during an argument in August 2012 and then pointed a gun at her in April 2013 while asking which toe she wanted him to shoot.
Allred confirmed Jackson became pregnant by Mayweather in November 2013 and that a December sonogram revealed she was carrying twins.
The lawyer declined to discuss any possible complications with the pregnancy and how it ultimately ended in January.
She said Mayweather’s posting of the sonogram on Facebook was “devastating” for Jackson.
“Every woman has a right to privacy and there is no excuse for invading anyone’s privacy, especially about what is happening in one’s own body and one’s own medical records,” Allred said.
In his formal response this week to Jackson’s lawsuit, Mayweather argues his ex-fiancée’s “own conduct, acts and omissions caused the injuries and damages alleged in the complaint.”

After Jude by Dashia. Chapter 9

Jessica my sister could be a real pain in the butt, sometimes, I thought she was meant to have been Fatima's sister. It was my fourth day back home in Abuja and she'd refused going back to school so she'd be with me... She could be sweet too. We'd done all the house chores and since Almighty NEPA wanted us to know they were our superiors, we stayed in darkness. My mum was asleep and my dad had gone to work. So as not to feel extra bored, I played Black Eyed Peas' 'I gotta feeling' and the girl kept jumping and dancing like a monkey. My brother had had enough and begged me to stop the song as Jess wouldn't just dance but sing along with it. "Please... if you love me as much as you claim... Stop this song." He begged. I shook my head with so much emphasis. "No." "Watch and learn baby." She said dancing towards him in a strut. "What does he want to learn in your monkey dance?" I asked her. "At least...

After Jude by Dashia. Chapter 6

I stood in front of the mirror and combed my hair. I'd made time to go to the market and get an all black gown, that was what I was wearing for the burial today. It was five already, I wanted to catch up with Jude's family at home before we went to the church for the burial mass. Fatima was taking her bath. She'd been with me since the day I told her about Jude's death. I was glad she stayed with me, she made everything better. I looked at the person staring back at me in the mirror. I'd changed, I looked different. I put my hand on the mirror to touch my face. There were bags under my eyes, lack of sleep and lots of tears. My nose was red, the sides had begun to have tear marks and the bridge even looked soft. My lips were down turned and unhappy. I was a very beautiful girl, my face was always bright, I seemed to glow at times, but this person that stared back at me was a ghost filled with bitterness and anger and regret. And pain. I wanted to cry but I didn...

A good start would be by replacing negativity and any harmful elements in your life with positivity and beneficial, healthy options. Sounds easy, right? If it were, everyone would be in perfect mental and physical health. By now, we all recognize the direct connection between mental and physical wellbeing. One impacts the other, for better and for worse. The question is how to achieve — and maintain — balance between our mind and body in today’s fast-paced world, where stress is a top global health concern.
